Christian Fashion Fund
Funding Modest Fashion Lines From Talented Designers Around the World
In our first year, Christian Fashion Week designated
Created, a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization committed to the restoration of vulnerable women involved in the sex industry to an understanding of their value, beauty and destiny in Jesus Christ, as our beneficiary. We were proud to raise awareness of Created's amazing work and heart.
However, as we planned our second annual show, we began exploring what Christian Fashion Week truly stood for and what we wanted to accomplish with this powerful forum. That is where the idea for the Christian Fashion Fund was birthed. The idea was to create a way for us to see the vision of Christian Fashion Week fulfilled. From this point forward, we knew that the CFF needed to be the beneficiary of every show we did from this point forward.
What Is the Christian Fashion Fund?
The Christian Fashion Fund is a non-profit fund created for the purpose of financing the entire fashion lines of new designers who want to create modest clothing. The CFF provides a grant to these designers, announced at each annual Christian Fashion Week, and provides modesty guidelines as the only provision for using the funds. In addition, CFF grantees are then given a spot in the following year's Christian Fashion Week.
Who Can Apply for the CFF Grant?
Any fashion designer may apply for the Christian Fashion Fund's grant. Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in creating original clothing lines with samples and references. The application process is initiated online and continues by e-mail, phone, and postal mail.
